Lapwing and Sunbird Cycling Club

Last year we formed a Cycling Ireland affiliated club called: Lapwing and Sunbird Cycling Club. The Sunbird is the national bird of Palestine and was adopted by the Gaza Subirds as a proud and peaceful emblem for their paralympic cycling team. In similar fashion we have adopted the national bird of Ireland, the Lapwing, along with the Sunbird as the logo for our club which aims to raise awareness of the Palestinian plight for justice and freedom.
